Maya Douglas

Maya is a SOC Analyst II at RADICL, where she investigates threats targeting Defense Industrial Base contractors. She built her foundation through a CS degree from CU Boulder, contracting for Microsoft, and working as a cybersecurity lead at an MSP before moving into MDR. She spent four years writing for Her Campus, which means she came into security already knowing how to tell a story. A Girl Security alum, WiCyS member, and CTF designer, she believes the best defenders come from everywhere. Her driving focus is SMB security: the segment that gets overlooked, underprotected, and increasingly targeted by nation-state actors who know exactly where the soft tissue is.
