In this testimonial, Caitlin talks about what it's really like working with the RADICL team day-to-day: the responsiveness, the depth of expertise, and the honest guidance that keeps clients on the right track, even when that means redirecting internal efforts.

What's covered:

Caitlin Bashaw — IT Manager, Havoc AI

Interviewer: Can you start with your name, title, and explain what Havoc AI does?

Caitlin: Sure! I'm Caitlin Bashaw, IT Manager at Havoc AI. We create unmanned vessels — boats, air, ground — serving both commercial and government clients. Most of our work right now is on the water, but we recently acquired two companies: one doing drone work and another focused on heavy machinery for construction. We're really trying to help organizations use these devices and software to better utilize their time and resources.

Interviewer: Yeah, I read about those acquisitions. One of them has a drone that can lift like 450 pounds?

Caitlin: Yes! That's Maverick — they're incredibly smart. They have this massive drone that carries four other drones on top of it and can pick up 450 pounds. It's crazy good.

Interviewer: How did you first find RADICL?

Caitlin: When I joined in October, my coworker Eric had already done all the groundwork to bring RADICL on board. I came in right as everything was signed, so I got to sit in on some of the first meetings, meet the whole team, and understand what the scope looked like. Eric did the heavy lifting — I just got to skip the tedious parts.

Interviewer: How has it been working with the RADICL team?

Caitlin: It's been great. I genuinely have not had a bad experience with anyone. They get questions thrown at them from all directions — travel requests, overseas inquiries, general CMMC guidance — and everyone has been supportive and helpful every single time.

I work a lot with Tyler specifically. He's been guiding us through our CMMC journey and he's just a fantastic asset to the team. He's knowledgeable, he knows what he's talking about, and you can tell he genuinely wants us to succeed.

We actually had an internal hire — a lawyer with a lot of CMMC experience — who put together a great set of documentation for us. We passed it to Tyler and asked if we could use it. He said it was fantastic, but recommended we follow RADICL's template instead because it's specifically designed for what assessors are looking for. And honestly, he was right. I respect that he gave us that straight answer rather than just going along with what we had. He's been wonderful.

Abe has been great with our inquiries, Josh has been awesome — I just love the whole RADICL team.

Interviewer: Would you recommend RADICL?

Caitlin: Absolutely. It's a no-brainer.

Interviewer: Any advice for organizations looking for compliance or cybersecurity solutions?

Caitlin: It's a little hard for me since I wasn't part of the original decision. But I have worked with an MSP on a similar CMMC Level 2 effort in the past, and the difference in communication alone between that experience and RADICL is significant. My advice would be to ask for customer testimonials, do your due diligence, and compare your options carefully. And honestly? Talk to Tyler. If you can talk to Tyler, you'll be golden. Josh too.

Interviewer: Anything else you'd like to add?

Caitlin: Just that I've really enjoyed working with you guys. We're a startup too, so it feels good to support another startup — especially one that's clearly doing things right. It's better than going with some massive organization that's just churning things out without caring about the outcome. It's great to see RADICL succeeding in this industry.
